For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Infrastructure Architect.Core Knowledge & SkillsSets enterprise-level infrastructure strategy; leads global architectures and integrations; manages worldwide environments; is recognized externally as a thought leader.Work & ComplexityOversees multiregion programs, coordinates global delivery, applies analytics to predict/mitigate issues, and steers strategic vendor partnerships.Quality & IndependenceEstablishes visionary, organization-wide standards; ensures excellence on large-scale initiatives; drives sustainable, future-ready practices with full autonomy.Teamwork & CommunicationLeads enterprise communication of strategy, aligns global stakeholders, mentors next-generation leaders, and represents the organization in industry forums.Consulting & EngagementAdvises executives on strategy and vision, expands external offerings and partnerships, and shapes long-term technology direction and market influence.As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Cloud Systems Engineer - Master-Level.Project SummaryAIS is supporting federal customer with a program focused on architecture and infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDrives the stability and sustainability of the cloud-based networks, software systems for scaling and reliable operationsPerforms system integration, verification and validation and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systemsCreates proactive engineering mechanisms that will enable the team to manage the health of a number of distributed VMsPerforms functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies for hardware and software specificationsUtilizes trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools and processesResponsible for systems functionality, performance, and configurations issuesEngineer and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure to meet performance and availability objectives.Create monitoring/alerting and operational runbooks to improve system health and response time.Required For This OpportunityBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).15+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.Active Secret clearance (or higher).Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.Nice to Have SkillsExperience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member. The targeted base salary range for this role is $154,000-$232,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
