Job Title: Trade Operations Analyst / Trade Settlements AnalystLocation: White Plains, NY (Hybrid)- Need local onlyDuration: 7+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)Start Date: ASAPInterview: VideoRate: $36/hr W2  Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Operations Analyst to support end-to-end trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation activities across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in trade operations, settlements, or middle office environments and be comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services setting.This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure accurate and timely trade execution and settlement. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess, validate, and settle trades across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other financial products. Monitor trade confirmations, allocations, and settlement activities. Investigate trade breaks, settlement failures, and reconciliation discrepancies. Perform reconciliations with brokers, custodians, and counterparties. Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, and external stakeholders to resolve trade-related issues. Maintain accurate transaction records and support audit/compliance reporting. Assist in improving operational workflows, controls, and trade processing efficiency. Ensure adherence to regulatory and operational standards. Required Skills & ExperienceSTRICTLY 3–5 years of experience in: Trade Operations Trade Settlements Middle Office Operations Post-Trade Processing Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle and settlement processes. Experience working with financial instruments such as: Equities Fixed Income Derivatives Hands-on experience with tools/platforms such as: DTCC Bloomberg SWIFT Similar trade processing platforms Strong Excel skills and ability to work with financial systems. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with high attention to detail. Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting multiple asset classes. Exposure to reconciliation and exception management. Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills. Additional NotesHybrid role based in White Plains, NY. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience may be rejected due to client requirements. Looking for candidates available to start ASAP.
