Facilities Engineer

A rapidly growing radio pharmaceutical company is expanding their manufacturing footprint in their Northern NJ facility. After undergoing a major facility upgrade that processes 700 assets under management, they're looking for a Facility Engineer to support the production of innovative diagnostics and therapeutics in nuclear medicine. The newly created Facility Engineer is a direct result of increased asset volume and facility complexity. This role joins a collaborative, fast-paced CDMO environment where you'll support facility operations. Specifically routine maintenance of utilities, HVAC, cleanrooms, and general facility systems. ResponsibilitiesSupport daily facilities operations including HVAC systems, equipment maintenance, and calibration tracking.Conduct facility walkthroughs to ensure systems are functioning and documentation is audit-ready.Respond to facility alarms and escalate as needed.Escort vendors and enforce site safety protocols.Collaborate with metrology and engineering teams to maintain GMP compliance.Maintain and update asset records using Blue Mountain CMMS.Assist with general office and facility maintenance tasks. Qualifications1-3 years in facilities or engineering support.Evidence of supporting Cleanrooms, Equipment, and HVAC.Familiarity with Building Management Systems (Blue Mountain preferred).Experience working in GMP-regulated environments (pharma or medical device ideal).Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.Strong aptitude to learn, coachability, and ability to thrive in a dynamic, regulated setting.Local candidates preferred due to occasional weekend emergency support needs.Desired Skills and Experiencen/aEOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
