This position offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic hospital setting, perform critical procedures, and contribute to life-saving surgeries while enjoying the scenic beauty and southern hospitality of Greenville.Required Skills:MD or DO degree with active medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensureBoard certification or eligibility in Cardiothoracic SurgeryProven experience performing aneurysm repairs, coronary artery bypass grafts (CABG), and heart valve replacementsProficiency with EPIC EMR systemExcellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently in a hospital rounding environment and handle surgical procedures as requiredNice to Have Skills:Prior experience in a locum or temporary physician roleAbility to perform additional cardiothoracic proceduresFamiliarity with hospital protocols and multidisciplinary teamsBilingual abilities a plusPreferred Education and Experience:Medical degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of fellowship in Cardiothoracic SurgeryAt least 3 years of post-residency experience in cardiac surgeryValid and current medical license in South Carolina or eligible for licensureOther Requirements:Availability for coverage starting July 3, 2026, through early morning on July 6, 2026Reliable transportation for travel reimbursement purposesWillingness to participate in call rotations (details to be announced)Certification in ACLS and BLS preferredTravel expenses including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed at IRS standard ratesThis is an exceptional opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a meaningful difference in patient lives.
