General ManagerBaltimore Peninsula, MDPosition OverviewThe General Manager is responsible for the overall success of an elevated Tex-Mex restaurant. This role requires a dynamic leader who can seamlessly manage refined hospitality alongside high-volume weekend, brunch and private event operations. The General Manager will drive guest satisfaction, team performance, and financial results while upholding brand standards and community presence in the growing Baltimore Peninsula market.Duties & Responsibilities Guest Experience & AtmosphereCreate a welcoming, energetic, and polished guest experience for both everyday dining and private eventsHarness an eye for attention to detail that aligns with the Ownerships expectations.Maintain elevated service standards while managing fast-paced environmentsEnsure consistent food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and presentationActively engage with guests, handle feedback and concerns, and build loyal repeat businessLeadership & Team ManagementRecruit, hire, train, and retain a strong management team and hourly staffLead by example on the floor during peak serviceEstablish clear expectations for service, professionalism, and teamworkConduct performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as neededPromote a culture of accountability, hospitality, and enthusiasmOperations & Service ExecutionOversee daily front-of-house, bar, and service operations in coordination with kitchen leadershipManage staffing, scheduling, and labor controls for both regular service and event-driven volumeEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulationsMaintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs)Financial & Business PerformanceManage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlsMonitor labor, food, and beverage costs while maximizing revenueCollaborate with ownership on pricing strategies, promotions, and special eventsBeverage, Bar & Food FocusOversee bar operations including beer, craft cocktails, wine, and local/regional selectionsMaintain vendor relationships and oversee inventory, ordering, and cost managementDrive beverage sales through programming, promotions, and staff trainingMarketing, Events & Community EngagementRepresent the restaurant positively within the Baltimore communitySupport partnerships with local businesses and organizationsWork with ownership and marketing teams on social media and promotional initiativesQualifications2+ years of General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experienceProven experience in upscale casual diningStrong financial management and P&L experienceKnowledge of food operations and bar management preferredExcellent leadership, communication, and guest-service skillsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, event-driven environmentsFlexible schedule including nights, weekends, and major sporting eventsMaryland food safety and alcohol certifications (or ability to obtain)What We OfferCompetitive salary plus performance-based bonus.
