Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to provide support to our client’s healthcare system in Santa Fe. This is a 13-week contract, day-shift role with the potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a hospital-based setting.Job Description📍 Location: Santa Fe🕒 Shift: 5x8 Days 08:30–17:00, Tues–Sat📆 Duration: 13 weeks💰 Pay Rate: $1,440 weekly grossJob SummaryAnalyze patient specimens according to established laboratory procedures and section policiesEnsure specimen integrity, proper labeling, and suitability prior to testingPerform a variety of laboratory tests with accuracy, following standardized methodologiesApply test procedures effectively and interpret results with a high level of precisionIdentify, investigate, and confirm abnormal or unexpected test resultsRepeat or validate tests when required to ensure accuracy and reliabilityReview, document, and report results in compliance with laboratory policies and timelinesOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipmentFollow all quality control, safety, and infection control protocolsEnsure compliance with CLIA regulations for high-complexity testingCollaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate patient diagnosisMaintain detailed and accurate records of all laboratory activitiesUphold confidentiality and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiativesRequirementsEDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent required.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: CLS (NCA), MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification as a medical technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist as required. Must meet CLIA ‘88 requirements for performing high complexity testing as defined in the Federal Register, Vol. 57; #40, Subpart 493.1489.SKILLS: Must read and write English and be able to communicate effectively Laboratory equipment operation skills requiredEXPERIENCE: Prefer one year of general laboratory experience.Interested?
