Truck Driver - Laborer

CDL Driver / General Laborer – Construction CDL REQUIRED At Dofine Construction, we are seeking a reliable and highly productive General Laborer with a valid CDL to join our construction teams at various job sites. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable driving trucks and semi-trucks and also enjoys hands-on construction work. This role involves a combination of CDL driving responsibilities and general construction labor. The successful candidate will operate company trucks and semis to haul materials and equipment, while also assisting with a wide range of construction tasks throughout all phases of a project. Pay $ 22/hour minimum starting wage Pay is based on experience, ability, and knowledge. Schedule Flexibility We offer very flexible winter hours and winter time-off requests (November through February). Primary Responsibilities Operate company trucks and semi-trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies Safely load, secure, haul, and unload materials at job sites Support job-site operations through general construction labor as needed Construction Duties May Include Site clearing, excavation, demolition, and grading Concrete work, framing, drywall, plumbing support, welding, and related tasks Operating tools and equipment such as concrete mixers, saws, drills, and compactors Digging trenches, backfilling, and compacting earth Building or dismantling bracing, forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures Objectives of This Role Safely and efficiently transport materials and equipment between job sites Complete general construction tasks according to plans and blueprints Operate heavy machinery and equipment as assigned Assist skilled trades when necessary Follow all health and safety requirements Maintain clear communication with supervisors Required Skills and Qualifications Valid CDL driver’s license (required) Experience driving trucks or semi-trucks General construction or labor experience Strong commitment to safety and quality work Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to understand and follow job-site safety rules Preferred Skills and Qualifications Heavy equipment operator experience (excavators, skid steers, backhoes) Experience hauling construction materials or equipment Bilingual (English/Spanish a plus) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week Benefits: Health insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Construction: 2 years (Required) Work Location: On the road
