This position allows you to apply software development and data analytics knowledge to real-world situations while learning the technical skills needed for a successful career. The internship is 20-40 hours/week for approximately 13 to 15 weeks. Preferred candidates would have the opportunity to return for up to two additional semesters during their studies.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, and maintenance of data analytics applications.Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to support data processing and analysis.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate analytics solutions into software products.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.Debug and troubleshoot software issues related to data analytics.Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and visualizations.Conduct research on the latest data analytics technologies and trends to inform development strategies.Attend virtual meetings and networking events to represent ZapIntern.Education and SkillsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.Experience with programming languages (such as Python, Java, or R) and data analytics frameworks (such as Pandas, NumPy, or Apache Spark) (preferred).Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical analysis.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Outstanding academic credentials and a passion for data analytics.To Learn More Visit: ZapIntern.
