Physical TherapistThe Physical Therapist is a key member of the IDT, focusing on care planning and the coordination and delivery of restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to participants, working to maximize independence and safety. Lower patient volumes – no more seeing 3-4 patients an hour. Form long-term relationships with participants rather than short-term rehab stints. Collaborate with other therapists, providers, and disciplines. Have work/life balance - no hours of documentation after work hours.We care about our team members. That's why we offer: Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days 401K savings + match Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus And additional benefits!On the day-to-day, you will:Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in our facility and occasionally in the home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goalsActively participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plansDeliver and document interventions as agreed upon in participant care plansProvide active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional training of ADLs, and treatments including massage, heat, sound, water, light, or electricitySupervise Therapy Assistants, providing training, instruction, and guidance needed to implement Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP)Provide training and instruction to staff, participants, and caregivers/families on the use and care of therapeutic equipmentJob requirements include:Bachelor's degree in physical therapy; master's or doctoral degree preferredTwo (2) years in clinical setting with frail or elderly population preferredValid California Physical Therapy License, or proof of license eligibilityMust obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter; CPR and First Aid certification upon hire preferredWe are seeking Physical Therapists that ideally have outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience.
