CNC Operator
OverviewThe CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. We are seeking a reliable individual interested in long-term employment.Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, or grinders) to produce parts to specification. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Load raw materials into machines and monitor cutting/machining processes. Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure machines are kept in proper working condition. Make adjustments to machine settings to improve quality and efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Record production data, downtime, and quality checks as required. Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred. Previous experience as a CNC operator or in a manufacturing environment required. Supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.Desire for long-term, stable employment with growth opportunities. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Basic math and mechanical skills. Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
