Benefits & Safety Administrator
Green Gold Group is looking for an experienced professional to take on the dual role of Benefits & Safety Administrator. The Benefits & Safety Administrator is responsible for managing employee benefits programs and ensuring workplace safety compliance at our cannabis cultivation facility. This dual-role position requires a detail oriented professional with strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of benefits administration, and a proactive approach to workplace safety in a regulated environment.
2+ years of experience in benefits administration and/or workplace safety, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture, or regulated industries.
Knowledge of employee benefits laws (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) and workplace safety regulations (OSHA) preferred.
Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
Proficient in HRIS, benefits administration platforms, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 21 years of age
Successful completion of background/CORI check mandatory for employment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, and conduct inspections throughout the cultivation facility.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
Comfortable working in environments with exposure to plants, soil, and agricultural chemicals (with proper PPE).
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and financial protection plans.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing guidance and resolving issues.

Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations; process required documents and maintain accurate records.
Liaise with benefits providers, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure smooth plan operations.
Conduct new hire benefits orientations and annual open enrollment sessions.
Prepare and distribute benefits communications, updates, and compliance notices (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
Audit benefits invoices and payroll deductions for accuracy; reconcile discrepancies.
Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
