Paralegal Case Manager – Personal InjuryLocation: Wilmington, NC | Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM | Full-Time, ExemptSpeaks Law Firm is seeking an experienced high volume Personal Injury Case Manager (Paralegal) to join our Wilmington team. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience working with a high volume of personal injury claims in NC.No phone calls or recruiter inquiries.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain effective communication with attorneys, clients, insurance adjusters, and other professionalsDemonstrate key performance indicators and drive tasks to completionCommunicate daily with insurance and health adjusters regarding policies, PIP logs and statement coordinationMonitor client medical treatmentAssist clients with scheduling of doctor's appointments and transportation if applicableVerify client's insurance coverageRequest client records from health care providersUnderstand subrogation liens and disputing unrelated chargesComplete balance sheets accurately reflecting Rule 414 payments/adjustmentsRoutine client communication regarding treatment, scheduling, wage loss, etc.Act as liaison between client and adjusters regarding property damage coverageSend requests for information including medical records and billingAssist lead case managers with identifying and investigating conflicts of interestCollaborate with dedicated case managers, legal assistants, and balance clerksOrganize and maintain client files in Neos CMSOther duties as assigned by managementQualificationsRequired: High school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) plus years of experience working with NC personal injury claimsPassion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitudeStrong organizational skills and attention to detailIntermediate computer skillsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleaguesMust be able to work on-site from 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-FriPreferred: Associate's degree or higher preferredParalegal certificate a plusNeedles/Neos experience a plusCompensation:The is an exempt salary position and is eligible for an incentive plan.
