This role is responsible for overseeing daily foodservice operations, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and supporting a positive dining experience for residents.Rate: $39/hr (Salaried)ResponsibilitiesOversee daily foodservice operations in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulationsEnsure food quality, safety, sanitation, inventory control, and customer service standards are consistently metMaintain records related to budgets, supplies, staffing, equipment, and departmental operationsMonitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supplies are available at all timesTrain, supervise, and support dietary staff; assist with hiring recommendations and performance managementServe as the primary liaison between facility leadership and dietary staffCommunicate operational updates and expectations clearly to team membersAssist in dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher duties as needed to support staffing coverageConduct routine kitchen inspections and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with company standardsPromote a professional, team-oriented work environmentSupport company mission, values, and resident-centered care initiativesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree or higher in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related field preferredCurrent ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, in accordance with state/local requirements)Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Certified Food Service Manager certification required, as applicable by state and CMS regulationsMinimum 2 years of experience in large-scale food production, dietary services, or nutrition services preferredPrevious supervisory or management experience preferredKnowledge of nutrition, food safety, sanitation standards, and foodservice operationsAbility to interpret nutrient analysis reports and manage departmental budgetsStrong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsBasic computer proficiency, including web-based reporting systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and sit for extended periods throughout the workdayGolden Legacy Care Center is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace for all employees.
