Job DescriptionPosition Details:Pay: $21.00/hrShift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmField-based role servicing customers throughout Western MichiganCompensation Extras:Monthly cell phone allowanceCar allowance with mileage reimbursement (Vehicle must meet PFG guidelines)Position Summary:As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.Position Responsibilities:Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers. Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities). Identifying and reducing out-of-stocks on shelves. Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters. Attending to customer needs and concerns promptly. Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores. Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning. Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified. Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance. Performing other tasks and duties as assignedThe ideal candidate should possess:Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel 5 days per week. Must have reliable transportation to travel to convenience stores & customer locationsAble to work independently with minimum supervision. Strong oral & written communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsSelf-motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detailRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.Compensation$21.00/hour
