MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior Instructional Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of United States Postal Service (USPS). You will play a crucial role in designing and developing engaging learning experiences for the implementation of software. Lead/Manage/Support development of instructor led and virtual learning content. Collaborate with government agencies, subject matter experts and instructional designers to learn requirements and build innovative training programs and content. Drive performance by planning, developing, managing and evaluating in-person, online and hybrid software training programs. Utilize delivery modalities such as webinars, web-based training, in-person instructor-led training, user guides, and online help systems. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your instructional design and development expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Instructional Developer must have: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Experience: 5+ years of related experience Excellent understanding and application of all phases of the ADDIE process. Knowledge and application of adult learning theory. Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance, and conversion of training and supporting documentation into 508 compliant products. US citizenship required This position will support multiple contracts within GDIT. As such, candidates must meet the following citizenship and clearance requirements prior to employment start date: Must be a U.S. citizen. Permanent residents (green card holders) are not eligible. Must successfully achieve a full CBP Tier 4 background investigation prior to beginning work. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
