We are looking for a candidate who lives in the Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo or Ventura County.ResponsibilitiesDesign and oversee construction projects.Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.Perform complex calculations and use specialized software to ensure accurate project specifications.Prepare and present project proposals to clients, including cost estimates and timelines.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise-ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Proven experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in construction or infrastructure development.Proficiency in CAD software, and other engineering design tools.Strong technical writing skills for creating reports, proposals, and project documentation.Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience in construction monitoring to ensure compliance with design specifications.Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
