A facility in Alaska is seeking an Optometrist to join their team! Housing and Flights Provided! Pay: $120/hr (All-inclusive W-2 Rate)Optometrist Opportunity: Full-time, locums opportunity 16-week contract with opportunity for extensions Schedule: Mon-Fri; five, 8-hour shifts Housing Provided and Flights Reimbursed! Optometrist Responsibilities Conduct eye exams and detect problems in vision, abnormal conditions, and diseases Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and any other medications for eye disorders Educate patients regarding treatment and care for eye conditions or diseases Optometrist Qualifications: MD/DO from an accredited program At least 2 years of previous optometrist experience About the Location: Strong sense of community: Remote Alaska towns often have close-knit, supportive communities where people genuinely look out for one another.
