DescriptionJob Title: Campus Production AssociateMinistry/Department: ProductionReports to: Campus Technical DirectorStatus: Full-time, non-exemptSupervisory Role: NoObjectiveThe Campus Production Associate supports the mission of The Church of Eleven22 by assisting with campus production operations to create a distraction-free worship environment where all people can discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowshipPartner with the Campus Production Director, Worship Gatherings team and campus staff to plan and execute weekly worship services and key momentum events with excellenceAssist in programming, operating and executing audio, video and lighting elements for weekend servicesPrepare and set the stage, tech booth and backstage areas for services, rehearsals and eventsParticipate in rehearsals and run-throughs to ensure a smooth, distraction-free worship experienceAssist with recruiting, training and developing serve staff by providing onboarding, role-specific coaching and ongoing spiritual and practical growth opportunitiesAssist in building teams to support midweek production needs, including Student Ministry, Celebrations of Life and other eventsOperate production systems during services (audio, media, lighting, camera, ProPresenter, etc.)Troubleshoot basic technical issues and escalate complex issues to leadership as neededMaintain and steward production equipment, software and technical systems to ensure reliability and excellenceAssist with maintaining Planning Center Online service plans, schedules and necessary assetsClearly communicate the weekly service vision to serve staff and model Eleven22 values, fostering a culture of spiritual growth, ownership and excellenceCollaborate with worship staff, campus staff and the Campus Production Director to ensure smooth transitions and overall service flowParticipate in campus, central and one-on-one meetings as directedPerform other duties as assigned by the Campus Production Director or Technical DirectorCompetenciesModel The Church of Eleven22 mission, vision and core valuesAbility to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to adapt to changeStrong proactive communication skillsMust possess strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skillsAbility to build effective individual and team relationshipsCritical thinker with strong decision-making and attention to detailProficient in live production, with working knowledge of audio, video and lighting hardware and softwareFamiliarity with Planning Center OnlineWorking knowledge of macOSEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferredExperience in team leadership, live production, including audio, video and lightingExpected Hours of WorkWork Hours Expectations: 40 hours or moreSchedule Expectations: Sunday through Thursday. Hours may vary based on church needs and may include working full weekends.The church hosts several large events ("All-Skates") throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff and attendance is required. Event schedules may vary depending on the vision cast for the current year.Our entire staff family is called to action so that we can continue to be a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.Work Environment/physical demandsThis role operates in office, stage and tech booth environments and involves regular work around lighting, audio and video equipment during services, rehearsals, midweek gatherings and special events. The position is active and requires standing, walking, bending and assisting with staging and technical setup.The ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds and use basic tools is required. The role includes exposure to elevated sound levels and stage lighting and may require occasional long or irregular hours, including weekends and events. Limited local travel may also be required to support multisite gatherings and trainings.Ministerial ExceptionThe ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).Staff members who qualify under the ministerial exception are not covered by federal and state employment and anti-discrimination laws.
