Hours: 7.30am – 4:30pm EST
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000/year
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance, quality control, and inspection operations. This role is responsible for managing quality processes, developing and maintaining quality standards, leading inspection teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products and processes consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
The Quality Manager will provide strong leadership to the quality organization, oversee Quality Management Systems (QMS), ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
What you will be doing:
Hire, train, and supervise quality staff, and manage the overall operations of the quality and inspection departments.
Oversee quality control procedures and policies.
Investigate customer complaints, and if necessary, ensure immediate corrective actions are taken and/or implemented.
Investigate customer Corrective and Preventative Action Requests, and ensure corrective actions are implemented, complete, and effective.
Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all quality assurance documents, reports, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (like ISO 9001) and develop strategies for continuous quality improvement.
Work closely with other departments to address any quality issues or concerns.
What experience we are looking for:
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
Proficiency with computer software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Experience in a supervisory role and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
An eye for detail and a commitment to achieving the highest quality standards.
Technical drawing interpretation and review of dimensions, tolerances, and symbols.
Familiar with inspection equipment. Caliper, Micrometer, Optical Comparator, etc.
Familiar with equipment calibration requirements.
ASQ Certifications
Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefit package includes medical, dental, a 401 (k) retirement plan, paid time off, discretionary bonuses.
