Pay: $75.53 - $124.62 hourly, depending on experience

Job Overview
As a Lead Computer Engineer, you will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for evaluating system architectures, developing engineering solutions, supporting complex system integration efforts, and guiding technical teams through the full engineering lifecycle.

What You'll Do
Lead the design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of computer systems and related technologies
Analyze system requirements and develop engineering solutions that support mission and program objectives
Evaluate existing system architectures and recommend improvements to enhance performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Provide technical leadership throughout system design, integration, implementation, testing, and sustainment activities
Conduct engineering studies, technical analyses, and feasibility assessments
Support the development and implementation of hardware, software, and network solutions
Review and assess technical designs, engineering documentation, and system specifications
Identify and resolve complex technical issues involving computer systems, networks, hardware, and software
Support system verification, validation, and performance testing activities
Ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable requirements, standards, and best practices
Collaborate with engineers, developers, system administrators, program personnel, and stakeholders
Develop technical recommendations, reports, presentations, and briefings for customers and leadership
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing to engineers and technical staff
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
Ten (10) years of experience in computer design, software development, computer engineering, computer systems engineering, computer networking, or related technical disciplines
Advanced knowledge of computer engineering principles and practices
Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and systems integration concepts
Knowledge of systems engineering and software development lifecycles
Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop innovative engineering solutions
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead technical efforts and provide engineering guidance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
Experience leading complex engineering efforts or technical teams
Experience with enterprise computing environments
Experience supporting systems integration and testing activities
Experience evaluating technical architectures and engineering solutions
Advanced technical coursework or specialized training in systems architecture, networking, software engineering, computer systems, or related disciplines
Experience mentoring engineers and technical professionals
