Deliver skilled nursing care in a dynamic medical telemetry setting, providing critical support to patients with diverse cardiac, respiratory, and metabolic conditions. This contract nursing opportunity involves working in a 41-bed medical telemetry unit, requiring expertise in cardiac telemetry and proficiency in reading telemetry strips.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and tele strips accuratelyAdminister cardiac drips and manage TRBands and high-flow oxygen therapyProvide direct patient care for individuals with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, genitourinary, and gastrointestinal diagnosesCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomesFloat to other applicable units as needed to support facility operationsUtilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentationQualifications and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry settingCurrent valid Massachusetts RN licenseAHA BLS certificationStrong skills in cardiac telemetry and related nursing interventionsAbility to accurately interpret telemetry stripsComfortable working rotating shifts (7a-7p, 11a-11p, and 7p-7a), with day shifts rotating and night shifts as straight nightsAbility to handle a clinician-to-patient ratio of 1:4/5 during days and 1:5/6 during evenings and nightsLocation Details: This position is based in Salem, MA, a historic city known for its vibrant community and scenic waterfront.
