Job Opportunity: Medical Director - PhysicianOur organization is currently looking for a full-time Physician to take on the role of Medical Director at our established Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center located in Rogers, Arkansas. This is a fantastic chance to lead a committed team specializing in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, which includes three skilled mid-level providers.As part of a comprehensive limb salvage initiative, you will work closely with specialists in various fields such as infectious disease, vascular surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, and general surgery to ensure high-quality, collaborative patient care. This role is strictly outpatient, with no responsibilities for nights, weekends, or on-call duties.About the Opportunity:Competitive base salary of approximately $230,000, along with attractive production bonuses.Comprehensive medical benefits, four weeks of paid time off (PTO) each year, and five days dedicated to continuing medical education (CME) with an expense allowance.Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with no night shifts, weekend work, or on-call requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Assess and treat both new and returning patients in the wound care setting.Diagnose wounds and their underlying conditions utilizing ICD-10 coding.Formulate and oversee patient care plans in collaboration with the wider healthcare team.Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and referring healthcare providers.Supervise hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy sessions.Conduct advanced wound care procedures, including debridement and grafting.Qualifications:Possession of an active medical license in Arkansas or eligibility to obtain one.HBO certification is mandatory (training and travel expenses may be reimbursed).Prior experience in wound care is advantageous.Location:The Rogers area is among the fastest-growing metropolitan regions in the United States, while still retaining the charm of small-town America.
