If you feel the same, then you’ve found your future.We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in delivering high-quality geotechnical engineering services across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong and collaborative professional who is looking to contribute to complex, multidisciplinary projects while helping expand geotechnical capabilities within the firm.In this role, you will provide senior-level technical expertise and project management across a wide range of geotechnical engineering services, including subsurface investigations, foundation design, slope stability analysis, and earthwork construction support. You will also mentor junior staff, collaborate with internal teams, and support business development efforts to grow our geotechnical practice.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support geotechnical engineering projects from planning through design and constructionPerform and oversee geotechnical investigations, including drilling programs and subsurface evaluationsConduct analyses and design for shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, and earth retention systemsComplete geotechnical modeling, including seepage, slope stability, and pile analysis (vertical and lateral)Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and construction documentsEnsure deliverables meet regulatory requirements and company quality standardsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff and project teamsCollaborate across disciplines to support complex infrastructure and environmental projectsAssist with client engagement and business development to expand service offeringsSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (geotechnical focus preferred)6+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license (CT, MA, or RI), or ability to obtain within 6 monthsProven experience delivering geotechnical servicesStrong experience with geotechnical modeling and analysis toolsProficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and geotechnical softwareStrong leadership, communication, and client management skillsProject management and supervisory experience highly preferredThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
