Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionHandle substantive litigation matters involving commercial disputes, regulatory enforcement, and public law challengesDraft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and other key case documentsManage written discovery, motion practice, and day-to-day case responsibilities with increasing independenceParticipate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and client strategy discussionsWork closely with partners on case strategy, legal analysis, and overall matter developmentCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant partiesSupport matters involving contract disputes, business torts, fiduciary duty claims, governance disputes, and administrative challengesHelp manage multiple workstreams efficiently in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous practiceQualifications3+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal courtExperience in commercial litigation, regulatory matters, public law, or a closely related litigation practice areaStrong experience drafting substantive motions and managing discoveryExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong professional judgment and ability to manage multiple matters effectivelyActive California Bar admission requiredBackground from a strong law firm, litigation boutique, government practice, or judicial clerkship is preferredWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will join a smart, driven team that gives associates real responsibility, meaningful client contact, and direct involvement in important cases.
