This team is led by three distinguished providers who deliver excellent clinical support, state-of-the-art facilities, and an outstanding quality of life. Busy Practice: With a robust referral base from within the PIH Health system, you can expect a high patient volume, typically seeing 18 to 20 patients per day. Enjoy a structured Monday through Friday schedule that includes 36 clinical hours complemented by dedicated administrative time. Strong Office Support: Our team includes advanced practice practitioners who serve as physician extenders, enhancing patient care delivery. Additionally, physicians benefit from comprehensive support provided by referral coordinators, eligibility coordinators, and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), allowing you to focus on clinical excellence. Specialized Team: Collaborate closely with a dedicated Diabetes Management Team based at the hospital, as well as access to a network of specialty surgeons within PIH Health. Receive a guaranteed base salary supplemented by productivity-based bonuses , reflecting your contributions and performance. The Endocrinology Physician coordinates a course of treatment for patients with a variety of glandular and metabolic imbalances while working with an inter-disciplinary team of nurses, physician assistants, dieticians, surgeons, pathologists and pharmacists. The Endocrinology Physician will act as an expert in endocrine disease management and prevention. Demonstrated expertise in endocrine diagnoses: assessment, intervention, and patient care management. Knowledgeable regarding an Endocrinology Physician scope of practice. Demonstrated experience with obesity and metabolic syndrome in a clinic setting preferred. Fellow or certification from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Excellent customer service skills. Graduate from an accredited Medical School Graduate form an accredited Internal Medicine Residency program Graduate from an accredited Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship program.
