A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - Med Surg Tele/n/nJob Details:/n• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM/n• Every other weekend schedule required/n• Float to other units as needed based on census/n• Care for patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases/n• Provide care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant recipients/n• Manage patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders/n• Function as med-surg/tele overflow unit/n• Patient population includes adults with daily census of 32 patients/n• 32 rooms and 32 beds available/n• 2 years of experience required for submission/n• Transplant experience specifically with liver, kidney, and pancreas required/n• California nursing license required at time of submission/n• BLS certification required (must be AHA certified)/n• Epic experience preferred/n• 36 hours of orientation provided/n• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours/n• 7-year work history verification required/n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing/n• Required skills include MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, feeding tube management, and liver transplant care/n• Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility specializes in advanced abdominal organ care and transplant services, providing comprehensive treatment for patients with complex gastrointestinal, liver, kidney, and pancreatic conditions.
