Assembler

The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing products to meet established quality, safety, and performance standards. The role requires the ability to read technical drawings, use hand tools and measuring equipment, and follow manufacturing procedures and best practices. Job Requirement * Assemble components and subassemblies according to specifications, blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specifications, and work instructions; identify and verify correct components, materials, and hardware, and safely use appropriate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, measuring instruments, testing equipment, and assembly equipment. * Perform dimension, tolerance, functional, operational, quality, and performance testing and inspections; record assembly, testing, inspection, labor, and production transaction results accurately. * Troubleshoot assembly, testing, equipment, and product issues; identify defects and nonconformances, communicate findings to appropriate personnel, implement corrective actions, and support rework and repair activities. * Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area while following established quality standards, manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines to support production goals. * Meet production schedules and apply manufacturing system principles, tools, and best practices to support operational excellence, productivity, quality, safety, and delivery goals. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform physical assembly duties requiring standing, walking, bending, repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, visual acuity, and frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of materials up to 50 pounds; work in varying manufacturing/production conditions. Skills and Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required, with 0–2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, mechanical work, or a similar environment preferred. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions, with strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. * Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, power tools, testing equipment, and assembly equipment safely and effectively. * Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately complete production and labor documentation, maintain accurate records, and support production schedules. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to assemble products accurately and efficiently, complete testing and inspections with minimal defects or rework, and contribute to continuous improvement and workplace safety. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain the manual dexterity and visual acuity required for detailed assembly work; ability to frequently lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
