Job Title: Generator Service Technician (Mechanic)Job DescriptionThis role focuses on servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment while also supporting equipment logistics, including delivery, setup, teardown, and returns. You will begin by working locally and, once fully trained, will travel across the United States to service equipment at various customer sites and events. The position combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with customer interaction, equipment inspections, and accurate documentation of all service activities.ResponsibilitiesInspect, prep, and operate rental equipmentLoad, deliver, set up, and retrieve equipment from customer sitesTrain customers on safe operation and use of all different types of equipmentInspect, clean, refuel, and restock returnsTag and route equipment for repair as neededPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsOrder parts and manage basic inventoryPick, verify, and pack orders for shipmentMaintain shop, yard, and vehiclesDocument work and resolve issues quicklyWork independently and support team as neededEssential SkillsHands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and repair diesel enginesExperience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for mechanical and electrical work.Ability to work with electrical systems, including basic understanding of electrical wiring and three-phase power.Mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive repair, machine assembly, and general mechanical systems.Experience with hydraulic systems, including at least one year of replacing and troubleshooting hydraulic componentsWhy Work Here?You will join a family-owned organization that offers meaningful growth potential and a positive, hard-working culture.
