Position description The Department of History announces a part time lecturer position for Spring Quarter 2026. We are seeking candidates with robust teaching experience who can contribute to our undergraduate course in Modern Iranian History (History 131D). This is an upper division course with 30-45 students who come from disciplines across campus.History 131D: Modern Iran (Spring 2026* // Tues & Thurs 3:30-4:50) The history of Iran from the end of the Safavid Empire in the eighteenth century to the present.The program will create a pool of candidates and will make selections when the final budget is approved.
