Jr. Plumber
The Junior Plumber supports licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and gas systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves hands-on assistance with pipeline and fixture work, adherence to safety protocols and plumbing codes, and participation in inspections and troubleshooting. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) requiredValid Driver's LicensePrior experience in the construction or servicing field preferredRudimentary knowledge of reading blueprints and rough drawings.Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copperEXPERIENCE, SKILL AND ABILITIESPositive safety attitude and personal integrity -- both are non-negotiableStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenThink independently, conceptually and apply practical solutionsCapability to self-start tasks, display solid work ethic, and aspire to move aheadAbility to maintain a high degree of attention and care required to prevent injury to self and othersAbility to accurately multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTravel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk. Other requirements may include the ability to kneel, crawl, bend, climb ladders, reach and handle with fingers, and differentiate colors.Ability to maintain a consistent workload that may involve significant physical manual labor.
