Weekend Supervisor
SUMMARY
This position provides hands-on weekend leadership for Cul-Mac production operations. The Weekend Supervisor leads a crew of approximately 6-7 employees, sets up and maintains production flow, adjusts staffing, coordinates with supporting departments, and is accountable for safety, quality, production results, downtime reporting, and required manual paperwork. This is a part-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prior leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred. Hi-Lo experience is a plus.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be consistently available to work Saturdays and Sundays from 5:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Must be willing to work on the production line when staffing shortages occur.
Must complete required production, quality, inventory, and downtime reports manually.
Must demonstrate strong leadership, critical thinking, dependability, and the ability to respond quickly to changing production needs.
REPORTING METHODS
Manual reports; no computer or production software use is required.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of production line setup, workflow, product specifications, labels, and packaging requirements.
Knowledge of workplace safety, quality checks, production schedules, downtime reporting, and 5S practices.
REQUIRED ABILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The following duties are representative of the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. The employee may be required to perform additional position-specific duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to a crew of approximately 6-7 employees.
Set up the production line and prepare the crew for weekend operations.
Set shifts, assign work, and flex out excess workers based on production needs.
Ensure employees remain safety-conscious and follow required work practices.
Follow the production schedule and verify the correct product is running.
Confirm the correct label and box are used for each product.
Perform hourly quality checks to verify that boxes and bottles are sealing properly.
Monitor production numbers and complete downtime reporting.
Assist with basic inventory accountability as needed.
Fill in on the production line when an employee does not report to work.
Work with maintenance, blow mold, blending, and other departments to keep the line operating.
Leadership Authority:
May issue employee corrective write-ups when necessary
Sets shifts and directs daily work assignments
Does not have hiring authority
Does not have termination authority
Does not complete employee performance reviews
WORK SCHEDULE
Saturday and Sunday, 5:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.; average of approximately 20 hours per week.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a safety-conscious crew and address unsafe practices promptly.
Monitor line operations for safety concerns and coordinate support with the appropriate department.
Ensure 5S cleanup activities are completed before the end of the shift.
