IT Manager (SOX Compliance)

Corporate Title: VPNon-Negotiable Skills:Background and experience in SOX audit.Experience aligning controls and forming opinions on the integrity of financial statements through technology risk and control assessments.Hands on experience with control testing, including:Gathering and reviewing audit evidencePerforming detailed analysis to ensure evidence is complete, accurate, and free of gapsEnsuring documentation meets SOX requirements with a high degree of precisionStrong understanding of the auditor mindset, including what auditors look for and how they evaluate control design and operating effectiveness.Background in a Big Four audit firm, either leading or supporting SOX examinations within a technology control environment.Experience and knowledge with identity and access management (IAM) controls, including:User provisioning processesAccess reviews conducted by managers to validate appropriate accessUser terminations and access changes related to role transfersFamiliarity with audit providers and control owners within IAM frameworks.Approximately 5 10 years of relevant experience.Biggest Non-Negotiable:Experience conducting SOX audits.Proven experience leading or supporting SOX audits focused on technology control environments.Target Companies:Big Four audit firmsNice to Have:Major in college with a technical or technology focused major.Strong understanding of technology controls, with particular emphasis on privileged access management as a key control area.Familiarity with a wide range of technology platforms and tools.Solid understanding of technology infrastructure, including:How servers interact with databasesAccess rights across multiple layers of the technology stackControl points within infrastructure and application environmentsWhat kind of work style and personality traits align best with the team?Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain audit concepts clearly to non technical stakeholders.Detail orientedAbility to summarize risks, findings, and challenges in a clear, non technical manner for business audiences.Financial Services Experience Required?PreferredCollege Degree Required?Yes
