Assistant Apparel Designer

About the Role We’re looking for a Contract Assistant Designer to support our design team across men’s underwear, athleticwear, and loungewear. This role is hands-on and execution-focused—you’ll be directly involved in bringing products from concept to production, not just sitting on the sidelines. If you’re detail-obsessed, fast, and excited about modern men’s apparel, this is a great opportunity to build real experience and contribute to products that actually ship. What You’ll Do Assist with product design and development across multiple categories (underwear, shorts, tops, etc.) Market research Measurement and construction checks on bulk shipments and product samples Fabric and trim research and testing Size grading Collaborate with design, production, and operations to keep projects moving Occasionally help with creative brainstorming for new styles, silhouettes, or details What We’re Looking For 0.5- 2 years of experience in apparel design or product development (internships count) or very strong and releavent educational background. Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Excel/Google Sheets Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fit Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment Interest in men’s fashion, activewear, or underwear Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
