Role : Avionics Software Engineer
Location : Arlington/Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Duration : Full Time
Position Requirements
· Experience in developing embedded software, including hardware and software integration is required.
· Must have C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment
· Must have familiarity with software DevOps processes.
· Must have experience with Git version control system or change management systems.
· Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
· Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
· Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
· Demonstrated Communication Skills needed to brief management, customers, and/or large groups on an occasional basis.
Position Responsibilities
· Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications
· Development of High level and Low Level Requirements
· Experience with DO-178
· SysML modeling of software design
· Perform Configuration Management for developed software
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical
