Network Engineer

Position: Network Engineer – SolarWinds, F5Big IP Location: REMOTEDuration: Long term Contract Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with expertise in SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) to join our team for this engagement. The primary objective of this role is to identify and close gaps in our network and computer hardware monitoring infrastructure using SolarWinds NPM.Key Responsibilities:· Evaluate the current network and computer hardware monitoring setup.· Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the monitoring infrastructure.· Develop a comprehensive plan to enhance monitoring capabilities using SolarWinds NPM.· Implement necessary configurations and integrations to ensure accurate and efficient monitoring.· Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of the monitoring solution.· Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams for ongoing management and maintenance.Required Skills and Qualifications:· Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on network monitoring and management.· Expertise in SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.· Strong understanding of network protocols, technologies, and infrastructure components.· Experience with computer hardware monitoring tools and platforms.· Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications:· SolarWinds certification (e.g., SolarWinds Certified Professional).· F5BIG IP Certified · Experience with other SolarWinds products, such as SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) or SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM).· Familiarity with cloud-based networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
