Sales Route Driver

Job description:OverviewOur team is looking for a self-motivated and energetic individual to be a Sales Route Driver. You would be a vital link between Ulrich Meat Market and our valued customers. As our Sales Route Driver you will be responsible for delivering products efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries of our products in grocery and convenience stores as well as other locations throughout designated routes. This position offers growth opportunities, as your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive success in sales, and in your income as pay is based on commission. We will provide the tools, products and customers so you can take ownership of your part of the Ulrich business. Training will be provided for this position, we will give you the tools necessary to get the job done.Saturday availability required.DutiesSafely operate company provided commercial vehicles along routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulationsDeliver products to various retail locations or customer sites, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and proper handling of goodsEngage with customers professionally to answer questions, promote additional products through upselling, and build lasting relationshipsMaintain detailed delivery logs, route sheets, and inventory records to ensure accuracy and accountabilityConduct merchandising activities by organizing product displays and ensuring proper placement on shelves or in storage areasOrganize daily routes efficiently using route planning tools, optimizing delivery times and minimizing delaysExperienceStrong math skills for calculating pricing, quantities, and measurements accuratelyProven customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionallyExperience in sales or upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities during deliveriesFamiliarity with route driving, merchandising, and inventory management processesOrganizational skills to plan routes effectively and manage delivery schedules efficientlyEmbark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet your passion for customer service!
