We have a highly skilled team based in Fremont and Carlsbad with manufacturing in Mexico. This role will include travel to Mexico and will be based onsite in Fremont.What You Will DoImprove system level performance of Molex 400Gbps / 800Gbps / 1.6Tbps opto-electronic productsScope and build experiments to quantify transceiver performance characteristicsDesign and contribute to automated bench-level testingCreate linkage of manufacturing processes to system performance for Molex opto-electronic productsDevelop knowledge base of product sensitivities to aid product and process design for next generation productsGuide continuous improvement opportunities while working with product design and manufacturing teamManage and interact with suppliers, subcontractors and contract manufacturesResponsible for improving performance through monitoring process, parametric test and yieldPerform necessary research to ensure Molex maintains alignment with latest industry standards (IEEE, MSA, IEC, etc)Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 2 years of industry experienceKnowledge of digital communication product designUnderstanding of basic Digital Signal Processing (DSP)Experience with statistical analysis methods (DOE, Gage R&R, etc.) and data analysis (JMP, R, etc)Experience in product engineering / product design of optical communication productsUnderstanding of automated test systemsExperience at board level using common measurement equipmentExperience with Python, C or MatlabFor this role, we anticipate paying $140,000- $180,00 per year.
