As a Data Integrity Engineer II at GDIT, you'll support the mission of the Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Unified Case Management (UCM). You will play a crucial role in reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing and maintaining environmental You Will Make An Impact:Review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain environmental database management concepts, storage and query/retrieval methods, statistical analyses, and programming languages to perform analyses, develop plans and recommendations, and prepare required level of with project specifications, including format and content of input/output data and functions to be performed by computer programs.Prepare clear and accurate tables, data plots, maps and other graphics.What You'll Need To Succeed:Education: BA/BS in a Computer Science or related technical disciplineRequired Experience: 4+ years experienceRequired Technical Skills: Experience with building and maintaining ETL pipelines while using AWS, Snowflake and PostgreSQL; experience with implementing automated data validation; experience creating dashboards and automating pipelines for reportingSecurity Clearance Level: Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five yearsRequired Skills and Abilities: Good customer service and communication skills, to include presenting to all levels of leadership; Must have good problem-solving skills; Prior experience in a CMS environment with Medicare/Medicaid claims and associated data; Experience with the Agile frameworkPreferred Skills: Master's degree preferred; 5+ years experience preferredLocation: Remote 100%, Preference to MD/VA/DC locationWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, available within the core hours of Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm EST.Residency Requirement: Must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
