Perform all physical patch cabling for in-scope server hardware, infrastructure, appliances, peripherals, and network devices at in-scope locations (including new cabling, cabling upgrades, and cabling decommissions)Install data patch panels, fiber boxes, trunk cables, and other structured cabling-related components, as directed by the client and where permissible by local guidelines and regulationsPerform data cabling-related troubleshooting and repair activitiesConduct logistics, inventory, and asset tracking as required by the client, including tracking changes to locations and statuses for hardware, assisting relevant L3 groups in troubleshooting infrastructure/network on both hardware and configurations at all in-scope locationsOversee asset tracking for in-transit assetsManage stock of cable supplies (including maintenance of simple inventory) and inform the client when stock needs replenishingPerform on-site health checks at in-scope locations and carry out operations activities as assigned by client provisioning personnel (e.g., rebooting unresponsive systems, reviewing error light indicators/visual checks)Escort third-party vendor personnel (e.g., telco engineers) to and from working areas within in-scope locationsProvide “first line support/Smart Hands” to include visual checks and replacement of Customer Replaceable Units (CRUs), as well as processing RMA parts including receipt, replacement, and return of failed units back to the vendorPerform other general maintenance, cleanup, and general data center housekeeping and maintenance as directed by the client
