Entry-Level Wire Technician
Ranch Armor is looking for an Entry-Level UTV Wire & Accessory Installation Technician to join our shop team. This position focuses on installing and wiring 12V accessories such as light bars, roof wiring, switches, and winches on UTVs. No professional wiring experience is required—we’ll train the right person who’s dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with their hands.
What You’ll Do
Install and route wiring for UTV roof systems
Wire 12V accessories including light bars, winches, switches, and power leads
Perform clean, safe wiring using proper loom, grommets, and mounting methods
Assist with basic UTV accessory installs and assembly
Use hand tools and basic electrical tools (crimpers, strippers, multimeter)
Follow wiring diagrams and installation instructions
Test accessories to ensure proper operation
Keep the shop organized and maintain quality standards
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Basic understanding of 12V systems (helpful but not required)
Ability to follow instructions and work carefully
Strong attention to detail (clean wiring matters)
Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
Able to lift up to 80lbs and work on UTVs in a shop environment
Nice to Have
Experience with UTVs, ATVs, or off-road vehicles
Basic electrical or automotive wiring experience
Familiarity with switches, relays, and fuses
Trade school or shop experience

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
