Repair Technician (Trainee)

DescriptionThe Repair Technician Trainee will learn to perform repairs to client swimming pools and facilities as directed by the Company.Duties/ResponsibilitiesWorks alongside a Repair Technician to learn and assist with general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients swimming pools.Learns to inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.Consults manuals or other resources as needed.Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating continue operating properly, under the supervision of a Repair Technician.Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements Basic knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and swimming pool repair. Ability to read repair manuals. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education And Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in related field preferred. RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to carry 50 pounds at a time.
