Electrical Engineer

Our client is an established multi-discipline consulting engineering firm looking to add an Electrical Power Engineer to its team. This role focuses on power distribution and industrial electrical systems design for heavy manufacturing and industrial clients, and offers a mix of hands-on technical work and client-facing responsibility.You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from design development through project completion — while interfacing with clients and internal project teams as the electrical engineer of record. It's a strong fit for someone who thrives in a consulting environment, values technical ownership, and wants exposure to a wide variety of industrial projects.What the role covers:• Design of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage power distribution systems• Electrical plant design for industrial and manufacturing clients• Protective relay and protective device coordination design• Single line diagram development and related design deliverables• Industrial lighting design for manufacturing and process facilities• Client communication and representation in project meetings• Collaboration with internal multi-discipline project teams• Arc flash hazard analysis and power system studiesWhat they're looking for:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or BSET)• 7+ years of electrical power systems design experience (10+ preferred)• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license — required at time of hire• Background in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or process plant environments• Experience with power system modeling software (SKM PowerTools preferred; EasyPower or ETAP considered)• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment• Must be available Monday–Friday, standard business hours
