Position SummaryContractorRemoteWork you'll doWe are seeking a Technical Engineer Contractor to support a large-scale enterprise data environment for a Deloitte client. The role will focus on DevOps-GCP, SQL, and GCP infrastructure administration to help ensure a stable, secure, and high-performing environment. The contractor will provide technical support across development, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation activities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable engineering solutions.Key Roles And ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise and support for the development, implementation, and maintenance of engineering solutions.Design and develop technical solutions to address complex engineering and platform challenges.Support GCP administration and operational activities across enterprise data environments.Perform SQL administration, troubleshooting, and performance support.Conduct system integration, testing, and validation to ensure solution reliability and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain system stability and functionality.Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures for reference and compliance.Support secure, compliant, and efficient delivery of cloud-based solutions.Contribute to continuous improvement across DevOps, infrastructure, and operational processes.Key SkillsDevOps – GCP (Advanced, 6–9 years)SQL (Intermediate, 3–5 years), GCP Infrastructure (Intermediate, 3–5 years)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience in enterprise-scale cloud environmentsTechnical documentation and stakeholder collaborationPreferred exposure: JAVA Spring Boot, iOS, Android, React JSThe expected pay range for this contract assignment is $ 65 - $70 per hour.  The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.Candidates interested in applying for this opportunity must be geographically based in the United States and must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.We do not accept agency resumes and are not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.Deloitte is not the employer for this role.
