Radiology - Cardiac Sonographer

Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS Must-Have: BLS certification, ARDMS, RDCS, or CCI-RCS certification, 5 years of experience in a similar role Description: The position may involve shifts of either 4x10s or 5x8s. Occasional Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 1 PM are required, approximately 2-3 per 13-week contract. 4x10s are scheduled for weekdays from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. 5x8s are scheduled for weekdays, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Exams will be performed as portable, with some patients brought to the inpatient unit. Outpatient exams vary in acuity, serving a diverse patient demographic. The unit utilizes ultrasound equipment from multiple manufacturers including Philips, GE, and Siemens. Travelers should be prepared for the credentialing process, including any necessary requirements. References from previous managers or supervisors are required as part of the application process. Candidates must complete all necessary credentialing steps to ensure compliance with state requirements.
