Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Lima, OH 45801 (Northwest Ohio) Estimated weekly pay range: $1,800-$1,890 Start Date: 03/09/2026 End Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Shift/Schedule: 12-hour nights (Night Shift RN) Hours per Week: 36 Weekend/Holiday: EOW, EOH Unit: Telemetry (MS/Tele - 8AB) (36-bed unit) Patient Population: Adult & geriatric; medical/telemetry acuity with higher-than-average cardiac population (chest pain rule-outs, CHF exacerbations, pre/post cardiac cath) and alcohol detox patients Equipment: Alaris pumps, Hercules beds Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred) License: Active RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license (as applicable) Certifications: AHA BLS , ACLS , and NIH required Telemetry Competency: Dysrhythmia exam required (study guide available) Cardiac Skills: Pre/post cardiac cath experience; ability to titrate drips preferred EHR: EPIC experience/training preferred Key Responsibilities (Telemetry RN - Nights) Perform initial and ongoing assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes Provide safe medication administration and continuous telemetry monitoring with prompt recognition and escalation of rhythm changes Manage and titrate common cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin (no pressors) Care for pre/post cardiac cath patients, including monitoring for complications and coordinating follow-up care Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and coordinate care across departments to support safe transitions and discharges Provide patient and family education on disease process, medications, and post-procedure instructions Maintain patient safety and infection prevention practices, including universal precautions and appropriate PPE use Provide care for patients with common lines/drains/devices (e.g., ports, PICCs, occasional JP drains; stable chest tubes may be seen) Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity in Lima, Ohio and grow your telemetry experience on night shift.
