Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Space Management & Project Development, this position is the technical leader responsible for the management, planning and coordination of the space data of the over 20 million square feet owned and leased by UC Davis. Functioning with a high degree of autonomy, this position implements space initiatives and works strategically with other units and UC system-wide to integrate metrics, reporting and processes related to disseminating data and use of data for broad decision making and in support of strategic goals.Apply By Date: 04/03/2026 by 11:59PMQualificationsMinimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the positionBachelor's Degree (preferably in planning, public policy, business administration, social science, architecture/design, construction management, project management, or real estate) and/or equivalent experience.Experience providing analysis involving complex issues and data sources, including analytical techniques, writing, metrics and data sources for assessing facility utilization and needs for university activities.Experience working with a large-scale database to include maintaining standards and data quality and creating or using query and reporting tools.Experience preparing visual reporting tools, including charts, graphs, flow charts, and other graphics to clearly and concisely communicate complex material and sequential relationships for decision making purposes.Excellent skills in communication, to influence and foster collaborative relationships and to work effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and at all levels of the organization.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Financial Accounting, GIS, Tableau, AutoCad and/or BlueBeam. Knowledge of policies, procedures and practices specific to capital projects and space management for the University of California and UC Davis specifically.Functional knowledge of the basic principles of space management, facilities planning and construction.Leadership skills with proven results in collaboration and participation of major campus and outside stakeholders.
