As on-site power generation becomes increasingly critical to supporting hyperscale operations, the company is investing heavily in the reliability, forecasting, and optimization of its natural gas supply strategy.We are seeking a Manager, Gas Integration & Supply to lead forecasting, scheduling, and commercial coordination efforts supporting gas-fired power generation assets tied to large-scale data center operations. This individual will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, commercial, and finance teams to ensure reliable fuel supply while optimizing cost exposure and improving forecasting accuracy across dynamic load environments.This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in natural gas scheduling, pipeline nominations, fuel management, and power generation support who also brings a highly analytical and commercially minded approach to energy operations.Key ResponsibilitiesGas Forecasting & Demand Planning• Partner closely with data center engineering and operations teams to forecast short-term and long-range power demand requirements• Translate electrical load projections into accurate turbine-level natural gas demand forecasts• Develop, refine, and improve gas consumption forecasting models and methodologies• Incorporate operational variables including turbine efficiency curves, ambient conditions, ramp profiles, and operating constraints into fuel demand calculations• Analyze forecast variances, identify root causes, and continuously improve forecast accuracyGas Scheduling & Supply Coordination• Manage daily, monthly, and forward natural gas nominations supporting multiple gas-fired generation assets• Coordinate with pipelines, suppliers, marketers, and strategic account managers to maintain reliable gas supply and transportation capacity• Monitor scheduled versus actual consumption and proactively manage imbalances to minimize penalties and spot market exposure• Maintain documentation surrounding scheduling assumptions, operational models, and nomination processesCommercial Optimization & Market Analysis• Track overbought and oversold gas positions while quantifying operational and financial impact• Analyze imbalance charges, spot purchases, excess sales activity, and forecast deviations• Monitor natural gas market fundamentals, pricing trends, volatility, and regional basis movements• Support commercial and risk management teams with procurement strategy, hedging considerations, and fuel cost exposure analysis• Provide operational insight into longer-term fuel supply planning and reliability strategyCross-Functional Collaboration• Communicate forecast changes, fuel risks, and financial impacts to technical and business leadership teams• Partner with engineering, operations, finance, risk, and trading teams to align operational needs with commercial strategy• Investigate forecasting misses and process inefficiencies while driving operational improvements• Recommend enhancements to forecasting tools, scheduling workflows, and supporting systemsRequired Experience• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience• 3+ years of experience in natural gas scheduling, fuel management, power generation operations, energy trading support, or related energy infrastructure environments• Strong understanding of natural gas markets, pipeline nomination processes, transportation logistics, and supply coordination• Experience supporting gas-fired power generation assets strongly preferred• Advanced analytical and modeling skills with strong Excel proficiency• Experience with ETRM systems or energy management platforms is a plus• Strong financial and operational acumen with the ability to connect market activity to business impact• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of operating in fast-paced, high-availability environments• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and market data into actionable operational insightAdditional Information• Preference for candidates located in Dallas, TX or Spartanburg, SC• Open to remote candidates with travel as needed• This position requires applicants to be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
