OverviewKatie's Way Plus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatrist at our El Paso, TX location to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment.In this role, you'll conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans, administer medications and monitor patient responses, provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families, and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care, while maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.ResponsibilitiesConduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plansAdminister medications and monitor patient responsesProvide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their familiesCollaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient careMaintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulationsQualificationsDoctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institutionBoard certification in PsychiatryValid state medical license to practiceExperience in providing patient care in a hospital or clinical settingProficiency in HIPAA regulations and ethical standardsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse patient populationsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience working with children and adolescentsExpertise in PTSD care and trauma-informed therapyKnowledge of psychopharmacology for various mental health conditionsFamiliarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniquesJob Type: Contract or W2Pay: NegotiableWe offer flexibility to provide mutually convenient hours for the provider and our patients. Our clinics are typically open from 8a-5p.
