Electronics Assembly Technician
Electronics Assembly TechnicianParadigm is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to support our client, an electronics manufacturing services company. As an Electronics Assembly Technician, you play a key role in our production output. You assemble electronic products to the drawing and documentation specifications.Type: 3 to 6 Month Contract-to-hire Day Shifts (7:00am - 4:00pm) Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite Only) Benefits: Paradigm offers medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTO, and sick days.As an Electronics Assembly Technician you will:Become IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certificationsMeet production requirements: Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion/Factory Logix documentation, Pass the Component Identification quiz, Depanel per work instructions, and learn to tape off small components with masking tape for conformal coat process.Perform prepping, stuffingAssist the Shipping Coordinator as neededEnsure that all products are tagged, bagged, packaged, and labeled properly and in accordance with customer and/or shipper's specificationsResponsibility is to ship per work instructions and customer requirementsPerform all computer transactions accurately and quicklyAbility to navigate several software applicationsPhysical Requirements : Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, as required by job tasks Visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed work, including the ability to inspect work under a microscope when necessary Must be able to pass a vision exam with a minimum visual acuity of 20/25 in at least one eye, with or without corrective lenses Must be able to pass a color vision test to accurately distinguish color-coded components or materials Demonstrated ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks effectively Paint/taping experience is a plusRequirements Our skills and experience wish list includes:Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident) and defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)Basic Computer SkillsStrong Written & Verbal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyPreferred Qualifications : 2+ Years of experience working in a production environment (preferred) IPC-A-610/J-STD-001/IPC-7711 Certifications would be a plus Soldering ExperienceAbout Us, Paradigm Want to love Mondays?
