The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate consistent leadership skills in clinical practice, adhering to OneCHRISTUS Competencies. Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and provided care accurately. Assess patient learning needs and provide education to support patient and family understanding.QualificationsBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred; must have current RN license in TX or compact state. Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric or related nursing specialty preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only). Attendance of New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days if newly hired. Precepting by designated trained staff for new hires with successful competency validation.
